Bek Gotthardt is a creative grooming artist and stylist based in Salisbury East, South Australia, blending a lifelong love of dogs and art into a rapidly growing career. Since officially starting her grooming journey in 2022, Bek has become known for her imaginative full-body designs, passion for learning, and bold artistic vision.

What began with experimenting on her dog Patches soon expanded to friends’ pets and client dogs as Bek gained confidence and honed her techniques. Starting with simple accents like ears and tails, she has since progressed to full coat carving and complex, character-driven designs. She holds a Certificate III in Animal Care & Husbandry, a Pet First Aid certificate, and advanced training in both Creative Grooming and Asian Fusion.

Bek's commitment to growth led her to Chengdu, China, where she pursued further international education in grooming techniques. She continues to deepen her skills in areas such as hand-stripping, carding, breed-standard trims, and fusion styles—all while refining her creative concepts with each design.

In 2024, she entered the competition circuit with a strong debut—winning first place in Intermediate Poodle and Salon Freestyle at The Pet Show, and taking Best in Group for Salon Freestyle. Since then, she has earned additional placements and continues to build momentum as a rising creative talent in the industry.

Bek currently grooms at The Hairy Hound All Breed Grooming & Clipping, a salon known for its team of multi-award-winning professionals and focus on continued education. She thrives in a collaborative environment that encourages excellence in both traditional and creative techniques.

As a proud member of the GCGA Australia Chapter, Bek Gotthardt represents the next generation of creative groomers—fearless, expressive, and deeply committed to the craft. Her passion lies not only in transformation, but in the joy her work brings to clients and their pets alike.
