Creative Groomer
Natasha Belosev is a pioneer in the world of creative grooming, with over 25 years of experience and an unwavering passion for canine styling. Her journey began when she dyed the tail of her white Toy Poodle blue—a bold move at a time when creative color was virtually unknown to the general public. Her inspiration came from a cover of Groomer to Groomer magazine featuring the iconic Dawn Omboy, which instantly sparked a lifelong love for grooming and artistic expression.
Her career took off in Canada, where she bred and showed both miniature and standard poodles, traveling alongside top handlers and perfecting show grooming techniques along the East Coast. She had the rare opportunity to work at the prestigious Poodle Club of America for industry legends such as Allison Alexander and Shaunna Bernardin, and to meet the late Kaz Hosaka ~ formative experiences that cemented her path in professional grooming.
In 2009, Natasha opened Pooch Avenue in Brisbane, becoming the first to introduce a luxury grooming salon and day spa concept in Australia. At the time, the idea was met with skepticism, but Natasha’s bold vision has since redefined industry standards. Sixteen years later, her salon remains a beacon of high-end grooming, where she continues to blend artistic flair with spa-level pampering.
With a dedicated team of groomers she personally trained, Natasha shares her creative knowledge daily and remains committed to uplifting the grooming community through mentorship, innovation, and passion.
As a proud member of the GCGA Australia Chapter, Natasha Belosev continues to champion creativity, elevate salon standards, and inspire groomers across the globe.
