Hunter Moore is the owner of The Yuppie Puppy, a boutique grooming salon located in Stamping Ground, Kentucky. She is also a proud mom of four amazing kids, and her life has always been deeply rooted in animals, hard work, and a passion for exceptional care.
Raised on a ranch in Colorado, Hunter’s introduction to grooming began at an early age. She traveled across the country competing in national-level livestock shows with cattle and hogs, where presentation, preparation, and attention to detail were everything. That experience instilled in her a deep appreciation for the artistry behind grooming and the pride that comes from presenting an animal at its very best.
Over time, her passion evolved from livestock to dogs, and she quickly discovered that dog grooming was not just a skill—it was her calling. She dedicated herself to mastering the craft, spending countless hours refining techniques and developing an eye for detail that allows each dog’s natural structure and personality to shine. What began as a personal passion ultimately led her to open The Yuppie Puppy, where she strives to provide a grooming experience that blends quality, compassion, and elevated style.
When she’s not behind the grooming table, Hunter can often be found competing at grooming competitions across the country with her Bedlington Terrier. She regularly participates in events such as Freestyle and Clipper Classic, which challenge her to continue growing and refining her craft at the highest level.
At The Yuppie Puppy, Hunter’s goal is to provide every dog with a calm, thoughtful grooming experience while delivering beautiful, high-quality results. Grooming is more than just a service to her—it’s an art form, and every dog that walks through the door is treated with the care, respect, and attention they deserve.
