Creative Grooming Artist
Based in the heart of West Hollywood, California, Josh White is a dynamic and sought-after creative grooming artist whose bold, cartoon-inspired transformations have garnered attention far beyond the grooming world. With over a decade of experience and a self-taught foundation in creative grooming, Josh has become a cultural touchstone in the movement—fusing high artistry with pop influence, personality, and storytelling.
Josh’s work is vibrant, emotional, and immersive. He draws inspiration from nostalgic icons like Lisa Frank, Pokémon, My Little Pony, and Care Bears, sculpting living canvases that evoke joy and curiosity. His signature approach focuses on tailoring each look to match the spirit of the dog and their human counterpart—delivering deeply personalized expressions that blur the line between fashion, fantasy, and fur.
Josh’s artistry has not gone unnoticed. He was voted Best Business by LA Magazine, featured twice in the LA Times, and cast on Amazon Prime’s competition series The Pack. His creative grooming has been showcased in a Skechers Super Bowl commercial, and he collaborated on the Jeremy Scott x Moschino dog apparel campaign, among many other high-profile projects that continue to elevate pet styling into the fashion and entertainment space.
At the core of Josh’s practice is Dogue Spa, his West Hollywood-based studio where creative grooming, Asian Fusion, and pop culture converge. Under his leadership, the Dogue team continues to push the envelope with pet-safe dyes, whimsical cuts, and innovative transformations rooted in both craft and culture.
As a proud member of the GCGA USA Chapter, Josh represents the cutting edge of modern grooming—where technique meets imagination, and where dogs become walking works of art.
