Quincy Evans
American Chapter
Creative Groomer
Quincy Evans has been grooming professionally since 2020, bringing with him a deep foundation in canine behavior, breed-standard trims, and creative grooming. His journey into the pet care world began with a traumatized rescue dog named Ebony, whose rehabilitation sparked a lifelong passion for understanding and supporting dogs with behavioral challenges.
Originally trained in vet assisting, Quincy later became a dog trainer at PetSmart before discovering his love for grooming. In 2020, he attended the Utah School of Pet Grooming, and by 2021 he was introduced to the competitive world through Kirsty Lou’s Doggie Doos. After attending Superzoo that same year, Quincy envisioned his first creative design inspired by Disney’s Jasmine—and with the help of a model dog and a supportive mentor, brought that vision to life.
Since then, Quincy has competed across the country, earning multiple titles including Best First Timer and Best in Show at the 2024 Teton Grooming Expo. His signature motto, “FIUB—F*** It Up, Buttercup,” reflects his fearless approach to learning, teaching, and evolving through trial and error.
With his white standard poodle, Ivory, always by his side, Quincy continues to inspire others with his bold designs, deep compassion, and commitment to education and mentorship.
As a proud member of the GCGA USA Chapter, Quincy Evans exemplifies resilience, artistry, and the transformative power of creative grooming—one bold design at a time.
