Nikki Smith has always lived life through a creative lens, drawing inspiration from her mother’s artistic spirit. Though she explored various career paths, nothing matched the sense of fulfillment she found in dog grooming. Within just weeks of entering the field, Nikki dyed her own dog blue—and never looked back. Creative grooming quickly became her passion, her art form, and her calling.
Driven by curiosity and a deep love for animals, Nikki immersed herself in learning, studying every aspect of creative grooming from product safety and technique to science and design. Her work soon began turning heads—from blue dogs and rainbow spirals to zebra and sheep-inspired designs—and people couldn’t wait to see what she would do next.
For Nikki, the joy of creative grooming isn’t just in the transformation—it’s in the bond she shares with her dogs during the process. The time spent together on the grooming table, the public admiration, and the confidence her dogs exude have only reinforced her love for the craft.
Over time, her growing expertise and striking designs earned recognition, leading others to seek her mentorship. Today, Nikki proudly teaches creative grooming, helping others unlock their artistic potential with confidence and care.
As the founder of Riddles Creative Box, she has also expanded access to safe, high-quality grooming products throughout the UK—making it easier for others to explore creative grooming safely and expressively.
